Familiarization of the Dushanbe Delegation with the Healthcare Digitalization Experience of the Kyrgyz Republic

From June 11 to 13, 2026, a delegation from the city of Dushanbe visited the Kyrgyz Republic to exchange experience and strengthen cooperation in the fields of digitalization of public administration and healthcare.

The delegation included representatives of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe City, the City Health Department, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City,” and representatives of healthcare institutions in the capital. During the working visit to Bishkek, the Dushanbe delegation held meetings with representatives of executive authorities, the Ministry of Health, and several governmental and medical institutions, including the Family Medicine Center, the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, the “Kyzmat” and “Tunduk” institutions, the Emergency Medical Center, and other organizations.

During the meetings, special attention was given to the development of healthcare information systems, ensuring information security and personal data protection, as well as the practical application of modern digital technologies in the activities of healthcare institutions.

As a result of the visit, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of digitalization and healthcare, as well as continuing the exchange of experience between relevant government institutions of the two countries. They also emphasized the importance of implementing the eTib electronic platform.
